Umrah

One may travel on their own or in a group of any size – the only requirement is that all your accommodation and visa must be arranged through an approved agent.
Yes, we offer many onward destinations including the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Far East. Carriers such as Saudia, Emirates, Etihad, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, Gulf Air, Egypt Air and Royal Jordanian also offer stopovers and onward trips. However you must enter Saudi Arabia within the validity of your visa.
We will endeavour to offer a refund depending on the nature of the booking, if we are permitted a refund friom the airline, hotels or other providers, we will offer a refund minus an administration charge. Once visas have been applied for, the cost of the visa cannot be refunded.

This may be possible and will be subject to extra charges. Most air tickets involve a change fee as well as fare difference in booked in a higher fare class. Other air tickets are not changeable and are fully restrict, this usually applies to cheaper restricted tickets and tickets from allocations which are also non-refundable.

Changes in accommodation and other ground services are subject to availability, payment of any difference in cost. A charge of GBP75.00 per booking would be applicable in addition to any difference in cost.

If the children require a bed they then pay the full adult charge if 2 young children share one bed they pay 50% of the adult rate plus a service charge. If no bed/seat are required then they pay just the service/visa charge. Airlines typically charge 70-75% of the adult fare for children plus taxes and 10% for infants.
An absolute minimum of 14 days must be given to allow for visa authorisation, visa processing and the necessary accommodation, flight reservations and confirmations.
In the unlikely event of you having a problem with the accommodation/transportation booked, in the first instance please get in touch with our Saudi service providers whose contact numbers will be provided to you. If you are unable to get in touch with them, you may contact us by phonehere at the office in the UK, you will also be provided with an out of hours UK number to contact us in the case of an emergency. We will do our utmost to resolve your problem as soon as possible.
You may choose from any hotel from our wide selection of hotels ranging, from 5 star deluxe to 2 star economy hotels, subject to availability. We will always try to confirm the specific hotel that you have requested, however if we are unable to do so we will offer a close alternative, we will off course inform you of this as soon as possible.
No, this is no longer possible and is against the law in Saudi Arabia – accommodation must be booked and paid for through the agent.

In the first instance, you must get in touch with our service provider whilst in Saudi Arabia so that the problem may be resolved immediately, if you are unable to get through to them, you may get in touch with us at our office by phone or if out of hours, using our out of hours number.

We will endeavour to investigate and resolve the problem.

On our tailor made packages there are no guides, however if you wish to travel on an escorted trip we offer escorted Umrah trips in Ramadan, Christmas holidays and Easter holidays.

We can provide you with telephone numbers of local companies in Makkah and Madinah that offer guided tours of religious and historical sites.

We also offer a number of Hajj tours including deluxe, short deluxe and a standard budget package-all featuring international flights and quality accommodation.

The Saudi Arabian Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) offers daily services between Makkah and Madinah throughout the day on quality and reliable air conditioned coaches, at an approximate cost of £15 one way. The coach stations are located near the Haramayn.

Alternatively you can hire a cab for approximately £120 one way.

No, Ziyarah trips may be arranged through a limousine company or any taxi driver locally.

You may only get a visa for Umrah on a non-British passport if:

  • You have an “indefinite stay” endorsement on your passport
  • You are here on a settlement visa to join your spouse who is a British National
  • You are here on a work permit
  • You are here on a student visa
There are currently no restrictions on the number of times that you can apply for an Umrah visa. However, the Saudi authorities have introduced a repeat Umrah Visa fee of 2,000 SAR (Approximately £450.00) which is currently applicable to pilgrims who have travelled on an Umrah Visa using the same passport after 1 October 2016 . Our quotations do not include this fee. In the event that the fee becomes applicable to you at the visa application process, you will be liable to pay such a fee before the release of your travel documents. Please be advised that this fee is applied by the electronic Saudi MOFA system irrespective of the agent that you apply through.
Whilst the Saudi government permit women to travel alone, we advise that you seek appropriate religious guidance from a qualified religious scholar/imam.

Earliest hotel check-in time is 4pm, and the latest check-out time is 1pm.

We cannot be held liable for accommodation not being available beyond these times.

If a flight is arriving earlier than the check- in time on the day of arrival and you require the room immediately upon arrival, we advise that accommodation is booked for the night prior for late check-in.

Most hotels offer the following room configurations, please stipulate the type that you require:

• Double
• Twin (2 single beds)
• Triple (usually 3 individual beds, the 3rd bed may sometimes be an extra rollaway bed or sofa bed).
• Quad (usually 4 individual beds, the 3rd and/or the 4th bed may sometimes be extra rollaway beds and/or sofa beds).

All hotel star ratings shown on our website and documentation are as per the gradings issued by the Saudi Ministry of Commerce.

Whilst most of the 5 star hotels in Saudi Arabia are to a similar standard to their counterparts in the United Kingdom, the same applies to most 4 star hotels but you may find some 4 star and 3 star hotels to be inferior to UK standards.

Private medical care may be obtained in case you fall ill whilst in Saudi Arabia for the purposes of Umrah. There are plenty of pharmacies located around the holy cities for minor health issues. Private medical clinics are also available close to the Haramayn in the two holy cities. To protect you from something more serious, you must arrange some type of insurance cover for such eventualities. This cover may cover the cost of cancellation by the yourself or the cost of assistance, including emergency repatriation, in the event of illness which you may, if you wish, take out in respect of the risk of those costs being incurred.
You can travel for Umrah between the middle of Muharram until the middle of Shawwal (approx). This is subject to change by the Saudi aurhorities.
90 days on evisa
There is a fee of approx £130 (subject to exchnage rate fluctuations). It is a multiple entry visa valid for 12 months.
